Review: Nourishing Shea lip balm of Yves Rocher
Here is a another review for you. Of a very small product i might say. It’s the shea butter lip balm of Yves Rocher. Love shea butter in products. The rumor is that lipbalms/chopsticks can be addictive? I am not sure if this is true. There is as far as i know never been researched. So if you know for example what ingredient it may make addictive please tell me.
This is a product that is on the market about one year. The old one i used as well. I find that this one is more moist to the touch. You will use because of this more. The amount of product is made bigger. The old one was 0.14 oz or 4 gram. Now it is 0.17 oz or 4.8 gram.
The old ingredient list:
paraffinum liquidum, ozokerite, hydrogenated palm kernel oil, myristyl lactate, cetyl palmitate, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, cera alba, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, diisostearyl malate, parfum/fragrance, ethyl linoleate, tocopheryl acetate
bis-diglyceryl polyacyladipate-2, isopropyl palmitate, ethylhexyl stearate, cocoglycerides, cera alba/beeswax/cire d’abeille, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, ethylhexyl caprylate/caprate, synthetic wax, polybutene, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, hydrogenated microcrystalline wax, hydrogenated castor oil, parfum/fragrance, mica, tocopherol, glycine soja (soybean) oil, ci 77891 (titanium dioxide)
There are 3 ingredients more now than the old one. Not sure if the old one is 100% complete. But on a quick glance there is more oils in it. Just keep in mind that i am not a chemist or anything. There are some more variety of flavors like strawberry, cherry, coconut, macadamia, raspberry and vanilla. Keep in mind that the red fruits are leaving a pinky/reddish color on the lips. The price is € 2.95.
See you next time.
