Review: Grand rouge 118 satin lipstick of Yves Rocher

Since 9 march there are new lipsticks out from Yves Rocher. The one I tested is there signature lipstick. Based on Camelia oil. They claim to hold on the lips for 6 hours. This is tested on 105 woman over a course of 7 days. Not that elaborated but still it’s only a lipstick. The texture is soft, but not sticky. The colour payoff is great. And the satin look is better than completely mat if you ask me. For mat lipsticks your lips need to be in top shape.

The packaging is very classic and gold. The old collection had a pointy tip. This made it stand only one way. That was very annoying. Glad they fixed that. The colour at the bottom is exactly the same as the lipstick inside the tube. Gold is not really my thing. I’m more a silver person. The logo dented in gives it too open some more grip.

When i first opened the lipstick i saw the pressed logo on the top. I was impressed. Very chic done. Of course this will wear off when you use it. On the picture below you see a very light swatch of the lipstick. Its more vibrant in real live. And in the artikel that comes online tomorrow you can see it with more pressured swatch. The lipstick cost €19.90.

See you next time.
